2 Important Dates
No, I’m not thinking about April 15th, nor am I thinking about your favorite holiday.
Two of the most important dates in your life might be 1) the day you were born, and quite possibly 2) the day you discover why.
The first one is about your potential from Day 1. As you look back on your beginnings, do you still think “you were born to be awesome, not perfect?” I hope so.
Success isn’t just about money and fame. It is also about who and how many you have motivated with your example and your treatment of others. Being a good boss, a good leader is defined by the model of behaviors that aren’t up for compromise. Your actions speak louder than “grand words.”
Yes, each day is important. And, if you’ve been reading my newsletters for any length of time, you are familiar with the value of your 86,400. (Ok, Ok, that’s the number of seconds in each day. And 86,400 begs the question of how you are spending your 86,400.
The first important date is a gift to you. What you do with that gift is something that takes time to reveal. Shamgar of “The Three Success Secrets of Shamgar”, says to start where you are, use what you have, and do the best that you can. Are you?
Its easy to judge the character of a person. Just observe how they treat other people. Its called Respect. Not for nothing, how are you doing in this area?
And what about the second important date? Allow me to describe it in this thought to ponder… One day we will all be a memory; it is within each of us to be a good one.
