Isn’t it amazing how much stuff you seem to get done the day before a vacation?
(If you haven’t figured it out by now, “Stuff” is one of my technical terms.)
Some of you have suggested that “on a whim” means to do something without a lot of pre-thinking”.
Some have told me that “on a whim”, to them, means being inclined to take a “risk” that they would normally not take.
But, look around you, at you.
What do you know about you? Are you inclined to behave like the two definitions above? Or, is everything a “whim” to you? There is a difference.
Sometimes, a little manipulating of the Nike Swoosh might “be good for the heart as well as the soul”.
How about, “Do it now.” because “Nah, sometime later” may result in a whole bunch of “Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda’s”.
I read somewhere that as we get-on-in-life (Really…that means get older for the millennials.) IKR, we are inclined to regret the things we didn’t do instead of the things we did do.
Now, a gentle reminder from the father of four: If everything you do is done by whimsey…you’ll never know the meaning of the word.
Bam, 3 points.
